The General Election Commission of Bekasi Regency (@kpukab_bekasi) received an award from the KPU of West Java Province for the reporting compliance category of SIMPAW (Inter-Time Replacement Management Information System) for Members of the DPR, DPD and DPRD in 2020.
The award was presented by the Commissioner of the West Java KPU, Endun Abdul Haq, to the Commissioner of the Technical Division @kpukab_bekasi, Abdul Harits, in the Coordination and Evaluation Meeting of the Management of Inter-Time Replacement (PAW) for members of the DPR, DPD and DPRD which took place at the Braja Mustika Hotel, Bogor, Tuesday (11/8).
Endun Abdul Haq explained that the PAW process for Regency/City DPRD members is part of the main duties and functions of the Regency/City KPU technical division which must be well anticipated, PAW does not recognize the stages because it comes and can happen at any time.
"Three principles that must be used as guidelines in following up PAW requests are compliance with procedures, administrative completeness and timeliness," he explained.
Endun added, procedural obedience must refer to regulations, both Law, PKPU and other technical guidelines. In making a decision, do not deviate from the applicable rules and regulations so as not to cause problems.
Chairman of the Technical Division @kpukab_bekasi, Abdul Harits, said that his party always reports in a timely manner through the SIMPAW application. Speed in processing replacement candidates between time is the main target of performance as a form of commitment to the best service from @kpukab_bekasi.
"We will conduct socialization related to the PAW mechanism to all stakeholders so that they have the same understanding. Therefore, if PAW is running, it can be carried out in an orderly manner according to the rules," he said.
For the information, the SIMPAW application is an Inter-Time Replacement Management Information System that will support the administrative process of replacing between members of the DPR, DPD and DPRD.
This application is used in the KPU, Provincial KPU and Regency/City KPU as an effort to open all flow and mechanisms in the PAW process so that the public can know the progress of the process.**
