The Bekasi District Government supportsĀ @kpukab_bekasi efforts to carry out continuing voter data update (PDPB).
This was conveyed by the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Bekasi Regency, H. Uju, when receiving a working visit to KPU of Bekasi Regency, Friday (24/7).
"The problem of voter data usually arises when an election or regional election is going to take place, so the step of updating the data carried out by the KPU on an ongoing basis is very appropriate to produce accurate voter data," he explained.
The Regional Secretary hopes that the synergy and collaboration between @kpukab_bekasi and local government officials can improve the quality of voter data in Bekasi Regency.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Population and Civil Registry Service (Disdukcapil), Hudaya, who accompanied the Regional Secretary in the meeting, explained that his party would submit population data regularly to the KPU as a material for synchronizing and updating voter data.
"According to a letter from the Ministry of Home Affairs' Director General of Dukcapil, the data we provide is in the form of NIK and name for further updating by the KPU of Bekasi Regency," he said.
The chairman of @kpukab_bekasi, Jajang Wahyudin, expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the Regional Secretary and local government officials who have provided support and facilitation for updating voter data.
On that occasion, the KPU also reported several things related to the preparation for the implementation of the regional head elections (Pilkada) in Bekasi Regency.
"We are currently preparing a budget plan and preparation for the regional head elections while waiting for regulations regarding the timing of the elections in Bekasi Regency. As is well known, the Government and the DPR are discussing the revision of the Election Law which also regulates regional elections, "he explained.
